About Chesapeake Medical SystemsChesapeake Medical Systems was founded in 1987 on a simple premise .... offer superior Service and Radiology products at a reasonable price, and respond to our customer's needs better than any other company is willing to!
CMS owners, Mike Halsey and David Harris, both have a technical engineering background and have been in the Radiology service business for 50 years, collectively. Mike and Dave realized that the local X-Ray service companies simply were not providing the First Class on-site service their customers demanded and deserved. Prior to CMS coming into existence, service response priority was a matter of who the customer was. They realized that a veterinarian's equipment problem is just as important to him as a cath lab was to a major hospital! They were determined to change this, and, in 1987, formed CMS.
Within a year, CMS was a dealer for all of the major manufacturers, Radiology product distributors, and film companies. Our customers drove this growth, as they wanted to deal with CMS. They quickly saw that CMS was willing and able to do anything to keep their equipment running, and to prevent them from running out of procedural products.
After 21 years of growth and success, CMS is servicing 4 states (MD, DE, VA, & PA) and Washington, D.C. We also have a sister company, Chesapeake Medical of Pennsylvania, with which we share resources. Our staff of Field Service engineers and office staff is comprised of highly qualified professionals who share Mike and Dave's philosophy regarding excellent service and uncompromised customer satisfaction.
Our Radiology product offerings are simply unlimited. We enjoy a formal working relationship with all of the major O.E.M.'s, allowing us to provide the proper replacement parts for Picker, G.E., Philips, etc. We employ a staff of highly trained professionals in our warehousing & delivery logistics division to keep the product "Pipeline" flowing smoothly.
CMS also firmly believes in constantly up-dating the skills of our Field Engineering staff through formal training on new products and systems. This enables us to offer a broader base of equipment knowledge to our customers who prefer our level of service over other companies in our area.
In summary, we have never deviated from our original mission of providing the best service possible. We are pleased to have the opportunity to provide this level of service to your department.
Sincerely,
Mike Halsey & Dave Harris |
